Good Day,
Patient Reader . . .
Time now for yet another installment
of CFF; thanks for joining me. Wow,
huh? Pretty aggressive rant there in
yesterday’s post . . .
I would apologize to the christians out there who might
have been offended by the vituperative nature of my monologue, but nah, screw
you zealot sunsabidges. Those of you
christians out there who understand that it is hypocrisy toward which I feel so
much derision can carry on about their day secure in the knowledge that, though
I may not agree with what you say, I will respect that you say it. Furthermore, I will Fight to the Death your
right to say it.
If you listen closely, you can hear it talking . . .
All you other assholes can suck
it. Keep in mind that, although you
believe that this is a christian nation, our Founding Fathers designed the
Constitution of these United States with explicit rules on the separation of
church and state. These were carefully
crafted laws to protect the Individual vs the Whole; each of us endowed with
inalienable rights, one of which is to worship as we, as individuals, see fit.
Has anyone here read Thomas
Jefferson’s version of the Bible?
The Jefferson Bible; Smithsonian
One must remember that Jefferson was a devout theist, and believed deeply in the truth of jebus' message. He was also the closest thing we have had to a Scientific President. Had Franklin been elected to that office, perhaps he would have taken that title. And Jefferson was the very last one to be considered so. Most of the others were lawyers.
Clinton’s degree is in Economics (say what you will about shit that is really none of our business, but he balanced the budget and America was in the black when he left office. W, of course, fucked that off), and Carter was a Naval officer who served under Admiral Rickover and was instrumental in stopping the development of the neutron bomb.
Neutron Bomb
Only four Presidents have won the Nobel Peace Prize (3 of them Democrats, thank you very much. The last Repub? Teddy Fucking Roosevelt, for mediating the end of the Russo-Japanese War).
OK, W has an
MBA from Harvard, but remember, this is a university that did not award PhD’s
to women until the 1960’s. Something to
be proud of? Think about the misogyny,
there.
Mary Whiton Calkins
So anyway . .
. I suppose that I should end this brief
treatise on the Separation of Church and State and the lesson on Science and
the lack thereof in U.S. Politics right about here. I do have so much more to say, but little
time today to say it.
Until we meet again, Patient Reader-
Always I remain,
The Cunning Fennec Fox
